Schedule for April 3, 2020
To allow for social distancing, for the next few weeks, parents and students are not allowed into the buildings at LISD.
If you need anything, call and schedule with us so we can meet you outside.
Email questions and answers are encouraged and provide a safe way for you to communicate with the teachers and staff.
As with the meals, the student lesson pickup will be grab and go with staff bringing you student’s materials to you while you stay in your vehicle.
If you are picking up meals for your students, use this time to drop off your students work and pick up your new assignments as directed below. Meal pick up remains at the same time and same place, 11:00am to 12:00pm.
Returning student work.
Preferred method of returning work is electronically. Scan and email to your teacher. Submit your work using Google classroom or another preferred platform from your teacher. Take clear pictures of your work and email to your teacher. This helps reduce contact and possible transfer of pathogens.
Pre-K thru 6th grade. There will be bins, marked by grade, placed on the sidewalk under the awning at the end of the elementary building. Drop your students work in the appropriate bin for their grade level. Then proceed to pick up the students next week’s work just like last week. Use the plastic wallet we used to send work to you to return the work.
Grades 7 thru 12. Pick up your next week’s work just as last week. There will be bins labeled with your teacher’s name on the porch at the front of the High School. Place the completed work in the bin with your teachers name on it. Use the plastic wallet we used to send work to you to return the work.
Lesson pick up begins at 9:30 am until 12:00 pm to coincide with lunch pick up. We will also have an evening pick up from 4 pm to 7 pm.
The pickup line will form in the same manner as student drop-off normally goes for the central building. Enter from the Church parking lot and drive behind the elementary building around to the door on the south side, where students are normally dropped off. A staff member will greet you and retrieve your student’s lessons.
This will continue until we can return to a normal school schedule.
