Lingleville ISD

The Lingleville Lady Cardinals will play the Iredell girls team at 6:30 pm in the new Stephenville High School Gym on Tuesday February 23, 2021. Tickets will be $6 for Adults and $4 for students at the gate. Come on out and cheer for these Lady Cardinals.

We are looking forward to seeing our students return to campus in the morning. We will resume normal schedules February 22, 2021. All campus buildings will be open and ready for classes.

Due to the continued winter weather and rolling blackouts Lingleville ISD will remain closed for the remainder of the week. These are closure days and not remote learning days Students and staff will return on Monday, February 22. Please stay safe.

The Lingleville girls playoff game against Priddy has been rescheduled to Saturday February 20, 2021 at 3:30 pm in Dublin.

Lingleville ISD February Board meeting will be rescheduled to the week of February 21.

Due to the weather situation and strain on the electrical grid, Lingleville ISD will be closed to both face-to-face and virtual learning Tuesday and Wednesday (Feb. 16-17). Lingleville ISD will reevaluate the situation on Wednesday. These will be old-fashioned snow days, and Lingleville ISD will apply for a missed school day waiver from TEA which allows for up to three missed days after a serious weather event without having to use bad weather days or make up the days.

Weather: Due to this historic cold snap and the extremely cold temperatures and travel conditions Lingleville ISD will be canceling school until conditions improve. We ask that students and teachers switch to remote instruction during this time. Students do your best to check in and complete your assignments. Under these extreme conditions there may be hardships to overcome for some, as well as access issues and taking care of your health and well-being which takes precedence. The teachers have a plan to catch those students up who may not be able to do their school work. Stay Cardinal strong.

Weather Schools have received information from the UIL on basketball. The seasons will be extended to account for the current conditions that we are experiencing. So if the weather conditions prohibit our playoff games they will be moved to the first available date where it is safe to travel even if it means the game will be played next week. We are hoping for relief from these extreme conditions for Texas, but it is great that the UIL has provided us the latitude to carry on with the playoffs with no penalties for weather make ups.

Due to the weather conditions Lingleville ISD will not have school Friday February 12, 2021. Scheduled basketball games will be played at listed times already posted.

Basketball updates. The boys final district game has been moved up so it will be played at 4 pm on Friday afternoon at home. The girls will have their playoff game against Morgan at 6 pm in Dublin. This will allow fans to be at both games to cheer on our Cardinals.

Lingleville girls varsity basketball will play Gorman girls at 10 am Tuesday for who will be second in District. Same protocols as Monday’s game. Tickets will be ready first thing in the morning.

Tickets for Monday nights game against Strawn are ready to pickup in the office Monday morning. Same protocols as other district games. Lingleville is the Home team.

The V girls basketball playoff seeding will play in Huckabay Monday at 6 pm against Strawn.
