I just wanted to clarify, the Mullin volleyball game that was originally scheduled for tomorrow (10/15) was cancelled due to them having too many players out for an FFA event. The girls will not have a game tomorrow. I apologize for any confusion.

Lunch menu change for today. We will be serving Chicken Burgers today instead of Hamburgers

Please see the attached release from Sheriff Matt Coates. I was extremely impressed with both the rapid response from all entities and the diligent efforts to ensure the safety of everyone involved. This incident occurred after school hours today. Thank you to everyone who responded and helped in this situation. We are safe to return to school as normal tomorrow. Lingleville ISD is blessed to be surrounded by an incredible community full of people ready and willing to serve. #bettertogether

This week’s football schedule does have a few changes to it. This has been caused by a referee shortage on Friday night and us wanting to play a tougher opponent, while also allowing our JV a game. Schedule will go as follows.

Junior varsity will play away at Kopperl vs their varsity at approximately 6:30 pm Thursday night. (after Junior high)

We wanted to acknowledge the presence of law enforcement on campus today, Tuesday, Sept. 6. First and foremost we want to assure everyone that your children are safe and well cared for at Lingleville ISD. Due to increased security measures across the state of Texas caused by recent events, having a law enforcement presence will become common place for all schools. Our local police, DPS and Sheriff departments are working together with schools to meet their new criteria as well as to ensure the safety of all children.

In an effort to extend our show of support to the Uvalde CISD and community as they start their new school year, please wear maroon Tuesday September 6th.
Thank you all!
